Thank you for your interest in volunteering at UCP and for sharing our mission of helping people with a spectrum of disabilities advance their independence. Volunteering is an excellent way to help make a difference! In our community, we value the time and commitment from our volunteers and the differences they make in the lives of our adults and children.
There are many different ways to volunteer at UCP. Our most popular are listed below:
- Classroom Volunteer: As a classroom volunteer, you can help our teachers instruct our adults and children in learning new concepts, participating in classroom discussions, activities, and projects.
*In accordance to our policies, all UCP Classroom volunteers will need a current TB skin test on file. TB skin tests can be performed at our Little Rock Adult Center and are free to volunteers.
- Big Events Volunteer: UCP hosts several fundraisers throughout the year. Sign up to help with our annual golf tournament, auction, or other fun events that pop up throughout the year.
- Center Outings Volunteer: At UCP, we like to get out and enjoy the fun activities that our community offers. Check out the Monthly Activities tab to sign up for the outing or function you would like to volunteer at!
- Office Volunteer: Office Volunteer details vary as opportunities become available. As an office volunteer, you could help wrap Christmas presents we give our individuals, stuff mailings, or sort items. *Please note that this opportunity is only available as needed. Announcements will be made when office work is needed.*
All UCP volunteers will be required to take state Criminal Record Check, Adult Maltreatment Central Registry, and Child Maltreatment Central Registry background checks.
Group volunteer opportunities are available. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the application below and email it to our Volunteer Coordinator, Codi English at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have any questions, please contact Codi at (501) 906-4500.
