COMMUNITY LIVING ARRANGEMENT
UCP of Arkansas’ Community Living Arrangement (CLA) is a 15-bed Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID). Similar to the adult centers, CLA provides rehabilitation and therapy services to adults with disabilities ages 18+. The goal of CLA is to provide the adults with opportunities for increased independence and community participation which in turn enhances their quality of life.
WAIVER SERVICES
The Community Employment Service (CES), commonly referred to as “Medicaid Waiver,” is a Medicaid funded program that provides service and support for individuals so they may live in their community and not institutions or nursing homes. The CES program, founded on a Multi-Agency Plan of Services (MAPS), provides each program participant with an individualized plan of services and supports to meet their unique needs. Through the CES program, we can provide direct services to individuals across the state.

SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT
UCP of Arkansas supported employment is a “place and training” model as opposed to the “train and place” model found in Sheltered Workshops and Work Activities facilities. We utilize a job coach responsible for training individuals living with a disability on job duties and responsibilities. Ultimately, the job coach reduces the time spent with the individual as the individual successfully performs all aspects of the job.
NURSING SERVICES
UCP of Arkansas’ Nursing services reaches a variety of individuals striving for independence and facing daily challenges, such as living independently with medical issues. We train clients and their staff on safety, infection control, first aid, medications and CPR. We work directly with clients, families, therapists and staff to ensure we achieve a holistic approach with all of our clients we serve.
SUPPORTING INDEPENDENT LIVING
UCP of Arkansas offers a wide array of services for adults, including adult habilitation, Community Employment Services (CES) Waiver, therapy services, Community Living Arrangement, work activity, and supported employment.
