OUR STORY
UCP is as a unified team with the mission of serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. Founded in 1957 by parents of children with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities, we banded together to help Arkansans live “Life Without Limits.” Our team of dedicated professionals offers daycare and parent relief to a comprehensive network of habilitation/rehabilitation. We provide adult habilitation, Medicaid waiver, supportive employment, community living arrangement, and therapeutic services.
In 2024, to better reflect the community and families we serve, we chose to change our name to Achieve Community Alliance. Since less than 30% of our clients have cerebral palsy as a diagnosis, we feel this new name better represents the whole community we serve. We have proudly served Arkansans with all forms of intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1957. Now, our name is as inclusive as we are. We remain an affiliate of United Cerebral Palsy of America.
